Since 1984 Wombles Steakhouse Restaurant has provided customers with man-size portions of beef and other culinary delights. Owners Duncan and Yvette Barker opened Wombles restaurant in Parktown North Johannesburg. Originally from Zimbabwe, then a short stay in Australia. A testimony to their success in Australia was winning the Gold Plate Restaurant Award, which is the highest honour a  Restaurant can receive.

Now in Johannesburg you get the same supreme steak house quality and service. Order from the restaurant the best, juiciest quality steaks in South Africa Fillet (400g) Rump (650g) Man Size Rump (1Kg) Sirloin (500g) T-Bone (650g) Prime Rib (700g) Ladies size steaks, poultry, fish and vegetarian delights. A meaty meal awaits you!

A well-respected local favourite, Wombles is situated in the ever-trendy see-and-be-seen Parktown North. The restaurant is renowned for its prime cuts of juicy fillet steak – also its signature dish when teamed with the original Wombles sauce. The food is well presented and a good selection on offer. The service is of the highest quality and friendly to say the least. Have visited before and they never disappoint. Would recommend that it is one of the top spots to eat in Johannesburg.
